Dão Taboadella Branco 2025
Branco is the entry level white wine from Taboadella vinified completely without use of oak barrels. The grapes used for this wine are from differnet parcels, all with granitic soils, and the consist of 40% Encruzado, 40% Bical and 20% Cerceal. Harvesting takes place by hand, and brought to the winery in whole clusters.
Fermantation is done in whole bundles, and with the 80% of the harvest in stainless steeltanks, and with the last 20% in cement-eggs. After fermentation the wine ages in the same distribution, with 80% in steeltank and 20% in cement-eggs. Afterwards the wine is bottled, and rests for a short period of time before being released to the market.
A very clear lime colored white, with medium body and a nice balance between the present acidity and slightly creamy structure. Floral notes of elderyflower and violets, combined with hints of ripe apple, grapefruit and tropical fruits. Well balanced medium bodied white, with good acidity and minrality. A good match for creamy pasta dishes, white fish or summer salads. Best served at a temperature between 10-12 degrees.

PORTUGAL
