Pardala Tinto is Pedro’s low intervention entry level red, which like the white and rosé are named after the young donkey Pardala. This is a fresh an extremely elegant example of how modern style red Douro wines can taste, and the note of red fresh fruits are perfectly well balanced, with slight green tones of herbs to compliment the palate.
The grapes are harvested per hand in 400m above sea level, from the vineyard where the stocks has an average age of 25 years. Followed up by vinification in granite lagares where the most macerates for 5 days. The wine then ages in steel vats for 1 year. A unique red that stands out from the classic styles of the Douro region
