Made from Bical and Cercial grapes grown on sandy soils, Serciialinho thrives on clay and limestone. Fermented in steel tanks and aged for six months. Just as quirky as the incomparably cool label: lots of English wine gums and fireworks, green tea leaves and grapefruit. Unfiltered, unstabilised, no sulphites – the wine god rejoices.

The Pato family has been producing wines in Bairrada since the 18th century. Luis Pato pressed his first wine in 1980 and has since become a pioneer in the region and the undisputed master of the Baga grape. Many innovations can be traced back to him: destemming Baga grapes, aging in French oak, planting ungrafted vines, and so on... Today, Luis Pato has 60 hectares of vineyards on sandy and loamy-calcareous soils south and west of Sangalhos. “For us, producing wine is not only a passion, but also a pleasure.”
