João Pato aka Duckman Ducking Pet Nat
A Ducking Pet Nat, born from the spirit of João Pato and the Sercialinho grape. Fermentation completed in the bottle, neither disgorged nor filtered. Invigorating bitter notes, slightly musty, pineapple and a hint of hay. In short: convincingly unconventional!

The Pato family has been producing wines in Bairrada since the 18th century. Luis Pato pressed his first wine in 1980 and has since become a pioneer in the region and the undisputed master of the Baga grape. Many innovations can be traced back to him: destemming Baga grapes, aging in French oak, planting ungrafted vines, and so on... Today, Luis Pato has 60 hectares of vineyards on sandy and loamy-calcareous soils south and west of Sangalhos. “For us, producing wine is not only a passion, but also a pleasure.”
