Everyone is talking about the much-praised minerality, yet even the most illustrious sommeliers argue about the term. Strictly speaking, minerals have no taste, but they do convey something: smoky notes, saltiness and spice. Let's get to the bottom of this together – with six wines that come from slate, granite or limestone.

It doesn't always have to be fancy – ties, high heels, winemaker's menu – instead, we invite you to taste six wines with us in a casual atmosphere. It should be relaxed and fun, that's the idea behind WEINcrash. The focus can be on a region or grape variety, the selection can match the season or go completely against the mainstream. The main thing is to enjoy wine!
