Ruby Port

Ruby ports mature for just a few years, usually in very large barrels or tanks, before being bottled young. Their aromas are dominated by the primary aromas of red grapes such as (wild) berries and spices. While the Ruby and Ruby Reserva port wines are bottled for drinking soon, Vintage Ports - as well as unfiltered LBVs (Late Bottled Vintage) - mature for years and decades in the bottle towards their peak.
