2024 Vintage Port from W. & J. Graham's
For seven long years, the historic Graham's estate had not declared a Vintage Port. That is, until 2024, when picture-perfect weather conditions—just like in the old days—brought joy to the winemakers. The two key Douro grape varieties, Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca, were perfectly ripe by early September, especially at Quinta dos Malvedos, which provides the main component of the 2024 vintage. And it delivers exactly what one would expect from a true Graham’s: ripe red and dark fruit (cherry, plum), many floral nuances—especially the characteristic rock rose—along with a hint of licorice. Exquisite texture, ultra-elegant, yet with enough tannic backbone for many years of cellaring.

PORTUGAL
Now in its fifth generation, the British-Portuguese Symington dynasty is one of the few names in the Douro region synonymous with the highest quality port wine. The family banner unites venerable houses such as Dow's, Graham's and Warre's – a heritage that comes with a responsibility. But new paths are also being taken, for example in the joint venture with French Bordeaux legend Bruno Prats, who produces a top-class international wine at Quinta da Roriz with his Chryseia.
