2024 Warre’s Vintage Port
Since the double whammy of 2016 and 2017, the long-established house of Warre’s has not declared a Vintage Port. The renowned 2024 vintage now brings this dry spell to an end. A Vintage that is a worthy embodiment of the style developed over more than 350 years by the official purveyor to the Danish Royal Family: elegant, floral and charming. The high-altitude vineyards of the four grape-supplying quintas – da Cavadinha, do Retiro, da Telhada and das Netas – some of which were planted in mixed-varietal vineyards over a hundred years ago, yield low yields and plenty of extract. Alongside these Vinhas Velhas, Touriga Franca makes up the lion’s share, whilst Touriga Nacional and Sousão – responsible for the fresh acidity – round off the blend. Ultra-floral, plenty of red fruit, and an extremely silky finish. Bottled unfiltered in May 2026.

PORTUGAL
Now in its fifth generation, the British-Portuguese Symington dynasty is one of the few names in the Douro region synonymous with the highest quality port wine. The family banner unites venerable houses such as Dow's, Graham's and Warre's – a heritage that comes with a responsibility. But new paths are also being taken, for example in the joint venture with French Bordeaux legend Bruno Prats, who produces a top-class international wine at Quinta da Roriz with his Chryseia.
