20-year-old barrel-aged Bastardo semi-sweet Madeira from Barbeito
Made from the Bastardo grape, which is rare on Madeira. Largely from the 2006 and 2007 vintages, aged in small French oak barrels. The blend is completed by a 60-year-old wine, which has been aged for the last 43 years in 20- and 50-litre demijohns. Wonderful orange blossom on the nose, with plenty of dried fruit, dates and distinctive spice on the palate. 610 bottles were bottled in September 2025.
