Barbeito 50 Years Old cask matured Malvasia Madeira ‘O Americano’ (The American)
From São Jorge and Fajã dos Padres. A tribute to a classic blend from the middle of the last century, which was very popular with Madeira's upper classes. The base is formed by elegant, not too sweet wines from the winemaker's private demijohns. In addition to a 50-year-old, fuller vintage, a dry Malvasia from the 1930s completes the blend. Deep and complex, excellent as a digestif.
In 2024 555 units were bottled.
