In Madeira, winegrowers rely on local residents such as Senhor Agostinho Andrade Júnior, who continue to cultivate the vines from which the wine is made in small plots on their private land. Since 1994, Agostinho's Barbeito vineyard has been supplying the Tinta Negra, but above all a very fine Verdelho - as this impressive 2009 Colheita confirms. Lots of elegance and a supple acidity with a striking finish. 944 bottles were bottled in January 2025.
