JP Azeitão Tinto 2024 Setubal redwine
JP is the entry level from Bacalhôa, and is also a well appriciated everyday wine in Portugal, that Anthony Bourdain himself also tried when he did his travel show in Porto. The JP Tinto is a blend of 34% Syrah, 33% Castelão and 33% Aragonez (Tempranillo), and after harvest are the grapes seperated during the maceration, in order to extract each grapes unique flavour. The aim is to keep the wines fresh and fruity aromas.
Fresh medium bodied, with a silky structure and red berries and slight earthy notes. The perfect everyday red that neither is to heavy nor to light. A good match for meat based stews, pasta dishes, or just as a meditation wine.
