Ramos Pinto 10 Years Old Tawny Quinta de Ervamoira
Single Quinta Tawny Port from Quinta de Ervamoira, south of Foz Côa in the Douro Superior.
There were plans to dam the Rio Côa, which would have meant the Quinta da Ervamoira would have disappeared under the floodwaters. However, the discovery of the Côa rock engravings in the 1990s led to the dam construction plans being shelved and the Côa Valley Archaeological Park being created, preserving the beautifully situated Ervamoira.
