The insights he gained into the noble Alvarinho and Loureiro grapes elevated their cultivation to unprecedented levels. A careful balance between tradition and innovation characterises all his projects: in 1998, he pressed his first wine under the name Muros de Melgaço, followed three years later by the launch of the Muros Antigos label and then, in 2009, the laying of the foundation stone for Parcela Única.
