Crisp white wine from Madeira - Barbeito Verdelho 2024
96% Verdelho from vineyards in Raposeira, Seixal, and São Vicente, complemented by 4% Sercial from Seixal. The north and south coasts of Madeira come together in this cuvée. Hand-picked in mid-September 2024, aged for 11 months, half in used 400-liter barrels and half in steel tanks. Invigorating acidity, finely contrasted by the subtle creaminess on the finish. Light citrus notes, restrained tropical fruit. Perfect with seafood, but also great with raclette or cheese fondue.
