The Alentejo has staked a claim as one of the country's most important red wine regions. It is renowned for its consistency of good quality, excellent value, fruit driven wines. A well-balanced blend made from Syrah, Merlot, Touriga Nacional, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, Mourvedre and Petit Verdot. This everyday red wine offers some ripe dark fruits (plums and cassis), black tea pleasantly supplemented by a soft tannin structure.

The idea was born on the occasion of our thirtieth anniversary: We
agreed with Alison Gomes that she would bottle a special edition for our
anniversary. It should have the smooth character of the "normal" Azamor but -
with the claim of our logo on the label - with more finesse, spice and
elegance... The wine was then so successful that we couldn't think of anything
better than 31 years of wine gallery and 32 years of Azamor Weingalerie to
bottle...
